BAE Systems Mechanical Engineering Intern - Fall 2018 in York, Pennsylvania

Job Description

This position is for the Fall 2018 time period. (August 2018-January-2019)

  • Provide general Mechanical Engineering support. Work with one or more projects to:

  • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)

  • Perform non-complex analyses for mechanical components/subsystems

  • Support drawing preparation activities

  • Prepare engineering change documentation

  • Support prototype/production build and system checkout activities

  • Write and comprehend technical documents

Required Skills and Education

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)

  • Must be eligible for security clearance.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Prefer candidates who have completed at least their junior year in college

  • Proficient in CREO

  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
