Job Description

Material Coordinates the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs.

Production Supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs.

Required Skills and Education

  1. Support Material Planning personnel with processing Requests for Material and other material or service purchase requisition activity as directed.

  2. Responds to requests for material. Works from computerized reports, BOMS, engineering drawings, engineering change orders and verbal or written instruction to identify material requirements.

  3. Monitors material flow from order to delivery. Maintains and monitors production movements throughout the focus factories.

  4. Utilizes mainframe applications such as Oracle , Discoverer, SFW , PDM and TIPQA to perform daily tasks.

  5. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Preferred Skills and Education

Requires a High School education or equivalent and two (2) years experience in material/production or configuration control environment.
