Job Description

BAE Systems is currently seeking a Lab Coordinator who will support our Design Engineers in overseeing the activities performed in the engineering lab and maintains records of classified and unclassified equipment. The candidate will assist engineers withregistration, tracking, and transferring of assets with both security and asset management. They willassist with the new security requirements and maintaining and adding/removing software/hardware on the secure network. In addition, they willbe responsible for ensuring all Engineering labs are in compliance with ESD and FOD requirements.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Ensures all Test and Measurement Equipment has been placed into the Metrology system and tagged accordingly.

Follows-up & expedites processing & procurement of material to assure delivery and availability of materials by date required.

Assists in maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment.

Submits work orders for lab maintenance and other tasks needed to be performed by Facilities.

Receive, store and issue equipment, material, supplies, or tools and compiles stock records in stockroom.

Required Skills and Education

Test equipment knowledge, with ability to cross reference test equipment capabilities. Organized team player, with a sense of continuous improvement and ready to make suggestions.

Candidate should be eligible to obtain a secret clearance.

Preferred Skills and Education

Skills with MS Excel, Access, Word and Visio preferred but not required
