BAE Systems Technical Specialist in Wallops Island, Virginia
BAE Systems is looking for a well qualified Technical Specialist to join their dynamic team at the SCSC Wallops Island. The ideal candidate will work closely with contractor and Navy program management staff to develop and update critical program planning, technical, and budgetary documentation. Provide expert analysis of program requirements, functions, and performance. Use your advance skills with MS Office and Project to collect, analyze, and present essential data in appropriate formats. Coordinate with function across multiple facilities to develop and maintain long-range schedules.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Typical education and relevant/related work experience: HS Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience encompassing combat system engineering, requirements engineering, test and evaluation, lab test site activation, lab operations, configuration management, quality assurance, long-range scheduling, design reviews, cost estimating, and budgeting.
Security clearance requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until at least an interim clearance is granted.
3 years of specialized experience (can be concurrent with above) in financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes; integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting; and coordination of task planning, schedule development and task execution for Navy programs and projects. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office suite and Microsoft Project. Best practices in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed planning and budgetary documents and presentations. Processing complex and lengthy technical reports. Participating in Technical Progress Reviews, Design Reviews and program technical meetings; and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings.

Active DoD security clearance
Knowledge and experience with TRMS, iSCSC , ACCESS and WllMS
