BAE Systems Financial Analyst II in San Diego, California
Advanced Geospatial Intelligence Systems seeks a self-starting Financial Analyst to work with a team providing a wide range of financial management expertise to a variety of government and commercial programs in the areas of budget development, execution cost and reporting.
Monitor departmental budgets, forecasts and identification of potential problem areas.
Evaluate program or project status based on cost analysis and performance assessment techniques to formulate recommendations.
Prepare or assist program bidding, planning, forecasting, cost collection, analysis and reporting.
Review international site expense and staffing
Prepare financial documentation such as cost performance reports, schedule status reports and contract funds status reports.
Prepare and formally present to management program and project reviews.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and/or the equivalent and 1-2 years of professional experience.
A strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills and Education
Understanding of project finance concepts and processes
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence and network
