BAE Systems Nitrocellulose Production Operator in Radford, Virginia
BAE Systems is seeking a detail oriented and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Nitration Production Operator with our NC Team at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operating large scale manufacturing equipment within the Nitration facility
Working with strong acids
Operating valves and pumps to process material
Reading/complying with work instructions
Weighing and sampling material
Transporting energetic material
Working on shifts and during seasonal environmental conditions
Working effectively and willingly within a team environment-?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = "O" /->
Required Skills and Education
Minimum 2 years Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical experience
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good understanding of basic arithmetic.
Valid drivers license required.
