Job Description

Prices material requirements for proposals. Obtains and reviews data regarding material cost to be disclosed in accordance with TINA regulations.

Documents material pricing information to provide evidence of pricing strategy and support of proposed dollars.

Prepares pricing package for submission to Pricing Analyst. Audits pricing package for accuracy and completeness.

Analyzes material pricing for reasonableness and completeness through comparison to previous pricing efforts and previous purchase history.

Briefs management of material variation in preparation for price contract negotiations.

Analyzes vendor quotation to properly audit its data entry into the material pricing database.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Required education: Bachelor Degree in a Business related field preferably Supply Chain Management

Must have good computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Must have excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills; and be able to work effectively within all levels of the organization.

Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Must have excellent analytical skills.

Must be able to work in an office environment and with computer spreadsheets all day.

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
