Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a candidate for the role of Test Engineer for development of boundary scan test vectors along with supporting test of the Electronic Combat Solutions product line of Digital Channelized Receiver and Digital Channelized Receiver Processor modules.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Responsibilities in this role will include developing JTAG boundary scan test vectors, debug and resolve boundary scan failures as well as developing JTAG programming capability into our products.

  • Expertise with creating JTAG test vectors using Asset Scanworks Boundary-Scan Test software package

  • Experience using Scanworks development license and Scanworks debugger to deploy and debug Scanworks projects for utilization by engineers and test technicians

  • Experience with the hardware tools required to use Asset Scanworks to interface to printed boards under test, including PCs and JTAG controllers

  • Strong Debug skills to help troubleshoot first run board issues down to the component level

  • Experience with the bring-up and debug of digital circuit boards.

  • Familiar with Embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is a plus

  • Familiar with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and Gige Ethernet and other SERDES based interfaces.

  • Ability to work with a cross functional team to define module test requirements and write functional test plans/procedures

  • Experience with unit test frameworks

  • Must be Eligible to attain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance.
