BAE Systems Technical Training Engineer in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

  • Coordinate and Execute Recurring Solumina Training Plan for NH

  • Identify Course Objectives by Role

  • Develop training curriculum design and maintenance

  • Generate associated training materials

  • Assess capability of all users and identify action plans to close gaps

  • Generate training plan that provides consistent delivery across factories

  • Conduct or coordinate all regular and ad hoc training activities (live & online)

  • Ensure connectivity with iLearn to schedule and record training activity

  • Recruit and schedule trainers from the business

  • Schedule and coordinate recurring training classes

  • Serve as a Solumina and related process trainer

  • Develop and maintain metrics on training execution and effectiveness

  • Travel between sites to provide support for training and process improvement activities will be part of the requirements of the position

  • Support training in all existing and new identified locations

  • Serve as Program Manager for Solumina continuous process improvement

  • Coordinate process improvement activities between NH factories

  • Interface with Operations Systems and Data Process Solumina Leads

  • Interface and coordinate activities with Solumina NH IPT Lead

  • Coordinate multiple process improvement teams by working with sub-team leads, consultants, Ops Systems as needed

  • Maintain metrics on process improvement effectiveness

  • Serve as the primary interface between BAE SME s and leads and the Implementation Engineers consulting team

  • Coordinate all communications to the functional users at all of the various sites

  • Collaborate with BAE Systems and iBaseT for all toolset and process changes and enhancements

  • Stay current with all toolset capabilities and coordinate information flow to and from users and devlopers

  • Coordinate all lessons learned and best practice activities to ensure competence

  • Other Technical Training

  • Develop process specific course objectives to support the business

  • Generate and maintain all course materials

  • Coordinate and lead all other technical training needs for ES Operations

  • Develop in0-house training as needed

  • Coordinate external consultants or trainers as needed

  • Develop a competency measurement for all major Ops technical trainings

  • iLearn Course Management

  • Verify alignment with Command Media

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Ability to coordinate system and process related activities and improvements

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Ability to train in both a classroom environment, and to assist with designing online trainings

Ability to analyze problems and interface with Systems team, users, SME's at all ES sites, as required

Ability to present system and process status to peers and leadership

Preferred Skills and Education

Extensive experience using the Solumina tool and process

The ability to learn and train other technical competencies to peers, operators, and technicians

Thrives in a collaborative team based environment
