BAE Systems Supply Chain Planner II in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic supply chain planner to support the Circuit Card and Final Assembly engineering and production teams within the Electronic Warfare Integrated Manufacturing Center. This individual will report to the Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for planning, preparing, issuing and controlling production schedules and material requirements to ensure the manufacturing center is supported to build product. Ensures products are accomplished on time to maintain internal and contractual delivery commitments.

  • Configure work order in preparation for manufacturing s release. Ensure kits are short free and lower level makes are prepared to meet demand requirements for manufacturing s pull

  • Demonstrate effective schedule management with backlog and new business, resolve material and documentation issues in a timely manner

  • Manage inventory accuracy by reconciling discrepancies

  • Manage point of use on the manufacturing floor with respect to deployment, inventory accuracy and revision control

  • Work with operations program managers and business area planners to resolve production road blocks as they arise

  • Involvement in continuous improvement teams as required and root cause correction activity as required

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Appreciation for high tempo culture

  • High problem solving aptitude

  • Capable of building relationships and communicating with all levels of the enterprise

  • Technically savvy with MS Office software and

  • ERP/MRP system (Oracle, SAP, Other)

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is required.
