Job Description

Works under general direction and guidance of the Department Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for all planning and scheduling of manufactured provided parts through the following systems:

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP). Familiar with a variety of the organizational concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as, a complete understanding of material planning and control. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other)

Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Presentation Skills (Presenting in front of Management)

Preferred Skills and Education

Detailed Analytical skills

-Oracle ERP experience

-Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, material requirements planning processes and concepts, enterprise resources planning processes and concepts, and capacity requirements planning processes & concepts.

-Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

-Good planning, time management and organization skills.

-Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers.

-Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.

-Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as Word,

Excel, Business Objects, and Access).

-Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate

principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

-Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.

-Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
