BAE Systems Supply Chain Planner I in Nashua, New Hampshire
Implements and supports long-term supply chain strategies that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. Supports business execution to ensure supply plan aligns with demand plan. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. In this role, the planner will identify continuous improvement and process improvement opportunities for program team.The planner will facilitate flow of material through a given factory and can troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and basics of inventory, bills of materials, and item master.
Understand flow of material through the manufacturing shop especially inventory control systems
Possesses understanding of procurement and planning process steps
Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team.
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred Skills and Education
- APICS certified
