BAE Systems Senior Strategic Material Program Lead in Nashua, New Hampshire
BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Strategic Material Program Lead to join their team in Nashua, NH. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with strong leadership and communication skills. The Strategic Material Program Lead will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality at all different levels of management, to lead all strategic sourcing activities. This candidate will serve as the leader for all programs supply chain activities and are the liaison between the Program Manager(s), IPT s and Supply Chain organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to developing and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives, creating, managing, and executing material program plans and collaborating with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
3-5 years of experience
Preferred Skills and Education
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of Management
Project or program management experience
Ability to effectively establish and maintain positive working relationships with other functional organizations.
Ability to work within a technical environment developing and implementing practical solutions to a range of supply chain challenges
Demonstrated ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective manner, including exercising judgment in complex or ambiguous scenarios.
Experience working with suppliers
Experienced with Microsoft Office tools
Experience with Oracle ERP
