BAE Systems Senior Process Engineer - Weekend shift 3pm-3am in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

This position will be a cornerstone opportunity in a new Microelectronics factory at the Spitbrook Road campus to manufacture microwave devices for military programs. It will have responsibility for automated epoxy dispense and die placement equipment supporting all product. Principle focus will be on delivering solid process engineering support to our workforce within the component placement cell. The position will be responsible for all process engineering tasks including programming, trouble-shooting, training, documentation and all other related tasks for this equipment. Previous process experience, while preferred, is not required for this position. Cost reduction and quality assurance activity will also be a necessary element that will help some of our programs realize cost savings that will allow them to meet cost objectives.

Highly preferred experience would involve other related manufacturing environment experience, specifically within a microelectronics environment with experience in automated equipment or component attachment. This position if for 8th shift which works Friday through Sunday from 3PM - 3AM and as a senior position we are looking for a candidate who can work autonomously and possess the knowledge to make decisions and keep the products moving.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Bachelor's of Science degree in an engineering or technical field.

Applicable experience in a Microelectronics factory will be considering in lieu of technical degree.
