BAE Systems Semiconductor Process Technician in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

BAE Systems is hiring for a Semiconductor Process Technician.

The qualified candidate will perform, with minimum or no supervision, a limited variety of routine duties required to process production lots in the Wafer Fabrication Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Process production lots per FCS through specified process steps in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that equipment is ready and qualified for production.

  • Perform necessary calibration and test runs before committing equipment to production lots.

  • Track production lots in PROMIS or/and in other records.

  • Maintain process control charts and work with Process Engineering to determine process improvements, process repair and troubleshooting, cycle time reduction, yield improvements, cost reductions.

  • Cross train and qualify other process technicians.

  • Follow ESH rules and regulations; maintain hazard free work environment; follow Clean Room Practice. Communicate effectively both verbal and written with other employees.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Education

Requires an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and two (2) years directly related experience in wafer fab process,

Preferred Skills and Education

Compound semiconductor wafer processes preferred experience in wet etch, plating, resist strip/lift off and optical inspection.
