BAE Systems - FAST Labs is hiring for an RF/Microwave Amplifier Hardware Lead.

In this role, you will join the Advanced Microwave Product (AMP) Center team in the development of micro-electronic devices, MMICs and or amplifier modules. The candidate will work in a multi-discipined microelectronic team evironment including Foundry, MMIC design, Amplifier design, and production.
The candidate should have a mid/high-level technical background in GaAs / GaN technology and an ability to provide technical leadership to small teams during product development and transition to production. Design experience with broadband, high power, high efficiency amplfiiers and associated supporting circuit design as well as proficiency with the applicable design tools is required.
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Design of GaAs and GaN High Power Amplifiers
Non-Linear Modeling of power devices (GaAs and GaN)
Ability to execute projects to meet technical, schedule, and cost
Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Experience with Design for Test (DFT)
Experience with Design for Cost
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Education
Transition to production of high volume microelectronics products
Design tool experience with ADS, HFSS, Sonnet, Spice
