BAE Systems Program Product Support Specialist in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

The Program Product Support Specialist is a key member of the support team and provides enhanced asset management and material tracking. They provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets in production in advance of customer delivery, while in the field, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade as items are moved between locations or facilities. Accounting includes manual inventory, electronic tracking and management to maintain and balance inventory stock levels, and providing asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination to each member of the program/customer team. The PPSS must be detail oriented, inquisitive and capable of acting independently to respond to requests and provides data driven answers to inquiries in support of program audits. The individual enhances organizational effectiveness by documenting identified metrics and lessons learned, and reporting this information. They will possess sound communication skills and support engineering and program teams by mining data sources and may be required to report information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Able to use online database inquiries for purposes of collecting data

Demonstrated flexibility on task performance and follow-through to ensure completion

Ability to collect, manage, and track Government Furnished Equipment / Government Furnished Material to/from various locations, following company policies and program plan/procedures

Experience with tracking items and processing related information

Strong interpersonal skills that maintain a positive work environment

Must be able to lift 25 Lbs

Preferred Skills and Education

Familiar with support applications/databases including ISTAR, TIPQA, and PDM, METEX, Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)
