BAE Systems PEA/Methods Specialist in Nashua, New Hampshire
The IEWS Operations Team is looking for a PEA/Methods Specialist. This position provides technical support for process engineering personnel working in a fast paced production environment. You will provide assistance in the application of basic process engineering tasks throughout a complete project under direct technical supervision.
Performs non-routine, complex process engineering assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger, more diverse project.
Recommends product and process improvements to enhance the efficiency of operations.
Assists in technical issue management and problem resolution.
Supports the transitioning of designs to the manufacturing phase for product and process capability.
Utilizes process appropriate measurement tools and records data.
Plans or assists in planning, prepares and conducts complex tests to evaluate process performance and assists with failure analysis and process problem diagnosis.
Participates in process requirements identification, and process analysis, documentation and tracking.
Assist with Design of Experiments for process cost & yield improvements.
Utilizes process engineering tools, including database applications, and/or spreadsheets in the development and maintenance of process performance documents.
Directs and coordinates the work of less senior technicians as project assignment requires.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Skills and Education
Requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent and four (4) years directly related experience.
Preferred Skills and Education
Working Knowledge of Oracle, Solumina
Back Ground in Quality Control
Lean/Six Sigma Certified
