BAE Systems Microwave Test / Product Engineering Manager in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

Manage Product and Test engineers to support a high production RF Microwave Manufacturing environment. Focus will be on 24/7 continuous support to 40 Test stations, reduce Test Variability, and identify manufacturing related trends to improve Test yields across all products. Drive team to reduce Test hours, as well as manage ESS resources to reduce machine downtime and bottlenecks in test. Work collaboratively with Factory management and Program teams to resolve issues and drive the teams to Root Cause Corrective Action that will increase yields, lower Cost and improve delivery. A strong understanding of Automated Test Platforms, as well as early production development methodologies.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience of managing an engineering staff of 12-30 people.

  • Previous Experience as a Test Engineer in a Production as well as Product Development environment

  • Understanding of Black Belt Six Sigma process.

  • Presentation skills to upper management.

Preferred Skills and Education

Electrical engineering degree and RF Microwave Experience.
