BAE Systems Mgr I Eng Quality in Nashua, New Hampshire
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Quality Program Manager who would be excited to join a leading top tier global aerospace and defense enterprise as part of the Survivability, Targeting and Sensor Solutions (STS) Quality leadership team working at the South Nashua, New Hampshire facility.
The Program Quality Manager is responsible for the effective execution of the program while driving compliance to the Quality Management System as well as Life Cycle Management. The role includes the monitor and control of quality assurance with a strong focus on Compliance, Supplier Quality, Defect Reduction and Continuous Improvement which will require effective deployment of resources and alignment with the Business Area.
In this position you will partner and work closely with the Program Leadership and supporting organizations in order to drive the health and compliance of the program. While reporting to Quality you will work closely with Program Management, Operations, Contracts and Finance in assuring compliance to business processes and contractual requirements. A thorough understanding of quality management is required to achieve program goals as well as identifying early warning indicators and value added solutions.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
A minimum of 8 years experience as a Program Quality Engineer or a Program Quality Manager
Continuous Improvement Leadership
Six Sigma- Green Belt Certified
AS9100/ ISO 9001 experience
Corrective Action Board
Root Cause/ Corrective Action Implementation
