BAE Systems Manufacturing Support Test Engineer in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

Test Engineering support to Electronic Warfare - Integrated Manufacturing Center (EW-IMC) factories.Troubleshoot production issues in a complex and dynamic mixed model product and test environment.

Support design, maintenance and repair of test station hardware, software and interface test adapters.

Provide continuous improvement ideas and drive cost take out initiatives of production test.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Hands-on test equipment and related test adapter troubleshooting and repair.

Software programming competencies (NI-TestStand, NI-LabWindows, C, C , etc).

Familiarity with functional test procedure development and maintenance.

Experience with manufacturing screening processes including thermal and vibration.

Hands-on bench testing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, containment of failures in a production environment, process updates to reduce tune / test times, improve yields.

Familiarity with RF test instrumentation (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources).

Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with Solumina MES software package.

Experience with TipQA quality software package.
