A challenging opportunity exists for an individual to join Program Services as the Manager of the ES Life Cycle Management Team.This high visibility role will allow the successful candidate to develop a deeper understanding of program performance and have the ability to have a significant impact on the program finance community.

Primary responsibility will include :

Be a fully engaged people manager, including oversight of multiple employees including direction on day to day activities and career development

Ensuring the ES Sector is compliant with all finance related aspects of the Lifecycle Management (LCM) process, including coordination with other function as required

oLeading the quarterly programmatic related Sector review process

oResponsible for setting quarterly direction and providing guidance for Contract Review Data Packs (CRDP) and One-Liner Reporting

Quarterly consolidation of data for CFO reviews and Sector QBR reporting

oIncludes presenting to the ES Finance Vice President

oContinuous improvement projects to enhance accuracy and automation

Provide support to business areas by ensuring awareness and compliance to LCM policy and any relevant changes

oLead quarterly LCM Communication Meetings with Business Area LCM Leads

oOther support including SOAs, progress payments, common builds, DTUPC, and Revenue Recognition

Ensure Compliance to Policies and Procedures

oPartner with Accounting to coordinate Deloitte Program Audit Support

oCoordination of Project Finance Financial Control Framework (FCF) Audits/COSA process

oCoordination of the Sector Operational Assurance Statement Risk Register

oReviewing and communicating policies, procedures and guides

Responsible for the CRDP Process

oReview Business Area submissions to ensure accuracy

oWork on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation of CRDP

Enhance Program Finance Acumen by creating and leading training as required

Other responsibilities as required

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Proficient Microsoft office skills Word, Excel, Power Point, including strong Macro skills

Ability to work independently, self-motivated, process/results oriented

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written

Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment

Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills

Ability to work cooperatively across multiple finance and non-finance functions with strong communication skills

Familiarity with BAE Systems plc, Inc. and sector policies

Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for interfacing with all levels of management, across functions, and with finance employees.

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience leading teams or special projects

Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines

Experience and familiarity with BAE Financial Systems including Cobra and Hyperion as well as EVMS.
