Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Strong Debug skills to help troubleshoot first run board issues down to the component level
Experience with the bring-up and debug of digital circuit boards.
Experience with testing and debugging RF signals utilizing spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other applicable test equipment.
Familiar with Embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is a plus
Familiar with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and Gige Ethernet and other SERDES based interfaces.
Ability to work with a cross functional team to define module test requirements and write functional test plans/procedures
Experience with building / troubleshooting engineering test stands consisting of Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), FirmWare Debug Cards (FWDC), various test equipment and cabling issues.
Experience with unit test frameworks
Experience with the hardware tools required to use Asset Scanworks to interface to printed boards under test, including PCs and JTAG controllers
Experience using the Asset Scanworks Boundary Scan Test Software with a desire to learn to develop Boundary Scan test vectors and to utilize the Scanworks debugger to locate and resolve boundary scan test failures.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and follow circuits to component level.
Ability to understand vendor Data Sheets and incorporate into top-level design troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand Module Specification documents.
Must be Eligible to attain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance
