BAE Systems Diagnostic Engineer - Processor Development in Nashua, New Hampshire
BAE Systems is seeking a candidate for the role of diagnostics engineer for processor development.

Responsibilities in this role will include developing low-level SW programs to test and exercise the HW components on the processor board, e.g. memory interfaces, network switches, data paths.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong SW skills, especially with C/C and assembly language
Strong Debug skills to help troubleshoot issues
Experience with Linux and Windows development environments
Experience with the bring-up and debug of Processor based boards. (NXP Power Architecture, ARM and/or Intel Architectures)
Familiar with Embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Experience working with Board Support Packages (BSP) from processor vendors or RTOS vendors
Familiar with SerDes based Interfaces such as PCIe and SGMII
Ability to work with a cross functional team to define the diagnostic requirements and write functional specifications
Ability to write test scripts in Perl, Python or similar to automate the diagnostic test
Experience with unit test frameworks
Degree in EE or CS
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
