Job Description

Communications Intern as part of a college or university program

Under the direction of the Vice President of Communications, support daily enterprise-wide initiatives. The internship is designed to give a current university-level student exposure to a communications function in a leading global organization.

Required Skills and Education

Responsibilities

Support the overall communications strategy by:

  1. Developing communications process and procedures under guidance from the VP, Communications

  2. Contributing to the development of a social media advocacy program

  3. Contributing to the development of a community investment volunteer program

  4. Contribute to ongoing communication focused on the company s cultural values

  5. Supporting the media relations team s research needs

  6. Helping to track ongoing metrics for communications team

Preferred Skills and Education

Qualifications

Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.

Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Candidate should be organized and have ability to work independently when needed.
