The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and dashboards for the Functional Cost Management team.This position reports to the manager of Functional Cost Management in the Electronic Systems (ES) sector.

Specific responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Work closely with the Functional Cost Management team to gather and interpret business requirements

  • Document and translate business requirements into meaningful financial reports and dashboards

  • Manage the design, implementation and execution of robust data integration processes and flows between disparate data sources

  • Act as a BI ambassador, disseminating knowledge and training to colleagues on the use of business intelligence tools

  • Ensure that work products are error-free and conform to visual presentation standards including data validation, proofreading, formatting and corporate branding guidelines

  • Drive analytics maturity through continuous improvement in data quality, data management practices and standard tools and capabilities

  • Assume other Functional Cost Management responsibilities, as needed (may include accounting, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and/or business partnering activities)

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Required skills and education:

  • Bachelor s degree in business analytics, business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalentexperience

  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Alteryx, Tableau Server, Microsoft BI, QlikView, SQL, R, Python, MIDAS or similar tools

  • Ability to successfully navigate complexity, ambiguity and pressure to get things done in a fast paced and agile work environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Excellent data management and analysis skills to effectively compile, clean and analyze data

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye towards visual presentation of work product

  • Ability to work independently and be self-starting

  • Process improvement and organizational skills

  • Oracle, Hyperion and iPortal knowledge

  • Basic understanding of double-entry accounting
