BAE Systems Controls System Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Work under general direction of Engineering technical lead to perform control system design, integration, laboratory and testing, for M109A7 program. Provide control system analysis of components or subsystems for Army systems. Perform controls engineering work and apply judgment to resolve conflicting requirements. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to create Simulink physics-based models of system under control. Ability to create State-flow reactive-based models of system under control. Ability to draft test requirements, test plans, and test reports. Ability to perform control system simulation. Familiar with working around high voltage, high power systems.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards.
Involvement with embedded servo controllers and logic controlled mechanisms, Knowledge of high voltage, high power electrical systems.
Knowledge of sensors used in electrical/mechatronic feedback systems.
Preferred Skills and Education
Masters Degree or equivalent experience
