Job Description

The Sensor Technology Group is seeking a Technology Development Manager II (TDM II) to support programs within our advanced development environment. Technologies include, sensors, lasers, RF micro-electronics, photonics and electro optics.

TDMs support group objectives by applying both management and technical skills to technology development programs. Leads proposal and program teams to develop plans and execute within agreed schedules and budgets with minor supervision. May have deep technical expertise and also perform as an individual contributor or technical lead. Have ability to support multiple ongoing efforts. Long term career paths can lead to program management or technical subject matter expert

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Engineering degree, cost account management training and experience

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Active secret or higher clearance

  • New product or technology development experience

  • Risk management training

  • Government proposal experience

  • RF, ElectroOptics, or Photonics experience
