Job Description

The Sensor Technology Group is seeking a Sr. Principal RF Researcher to support programs and pursuits within our advanced development environment. Technologies include RF micro-electronics, antennas, digital signal processing in support of multi-function RF systems.

Researchers support group objectives by applying technical skills and mentoring to multidisciplinary project teams. Leading proposal and programs to develop plans and execute within agreed schedules and budgets with minor supervision. Individual must have deep technical expertise and also perform as an individual contributor or technical lead

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Experienced in the design, development, execution, and implementation of novel, state-of-the-art scientific solutions to complex technical problems.

Guides teams in executing complex research plans regularly involving multiple technical fields.

Defines, proposes, and leads independent technical research and development

Experienced in the business development process, especially withnovel and innovative ideas or new customers

Preferred Skills and Education

Has ability to support multiple ongoing efforts.

Long term career paths can lead to program management or technical subject matter expert.
