BAE Systems Product Marketing Specialist in Merrimack, New Hampshire

Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the strategic development and execution of business-area wide, integrated communications and marketing engagement plans for the Electronic Systems sector within a global company. The candidate will work with the Communications and Business Area teams to determine key marketing campaigns and employ innovative tactics to strengthen brand awareness and sell sector products.

As the marketing lead assigned to business areas, this position works with the larger Communications team, as well as the business area teams to support business objectives. Responsibilities include developing, leading and managing marketing tactics including the creation of innovative and impactful marketing collateral and sales tools to support the business including but not limited to brochures, advertising, presentations, photo shoots, videos and other multimedia and e-marketing tactics.In addition, this role assists with the communication and interface between the business area, product teams, business development and the Communications business partner and team, providing a coordinated and consistent approach.This role also provides inputs for budgetary planning and assists with the management of the marketing budget.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Experience creating and deploying integrated marketing campaigns and utilizing innovative tactics including advertising, websites, video, PR and collateral that successfully targets key markets and customers

Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work independently

Results driven self-starter who exhibits passion for the work

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Quick learner and adaptable/flexible

Understanding of CRM systems

Understanding of social/digital media

Experience working both independently and as a contributing member of a diverse and widespread team

Able to garner the resources needed to meet marketing goals, regardless of budgets, assigned headcount and formal reporting structure

Collaborative within the team and other relevant groups Creative Services, Internal and External Communications, Business Development and Product Line Management

Appreciates the nuances of communicating in the technology and defense industries

Preferred Skills and Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related discipline and 5 years experience
