BAE Systems - FAST Labs is seeking an innovative technical leader for the advanced Antennas & Arrays Capability Group to develop next-generation products for a variety of advanced platforms.

Candidates will have demonstrated experience in developing Low Observable technology, leading teams and projects, executing R&D aligned with company and government agency needs, reviewing and approving bids, assessing technical reviews and work products, and monitoring a portfolio of both production and advanced development projects.

The Antenna Capability Group manager is also responsible for managing a multi-site network of indoor and outdoor Antenna Test Ranges that handle both Advanced Development and High-Rate Production Product.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a cross-functional team that is responsible for all aspects of antenna and array development from program capture through execution and delivery

  • Develop technology roadmaps that are aligned with internal and external customers

  • Drive collaboration with other Capability Groups (Amplifier, RF Front End, DF/Geo)

  • Serve as functional manager for section leads and direct engineering staff

  • Establish and manage to department utilization targets and budgets

  • Support proposal, bid, and execution/technical review initiatives

  • Hire and develop talent to support business/program needs

  • Ensure capacity of the Antenna Ranges supports high-rate production programs

Typical Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Current Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred

  • Experience in design and deployment of Low Observable Apertures and Arrays

  • Phased Array Design & Test Experience

  • Proven leader of a cross functional team

  • Experience in DFM, DFT, and DTUPC applied design principles

  • Familiarity with system-level analysis, specification generation, and transition to production

  • Masters or PhD degree in engineering or scientific field preferred, but not required.
