Join our Human Resources Site Business Partner Team

We are high performing and growing and seek a dynamic HR professional to complement our ES Site HR Team. This position will be located at our Merrimack or Hudson New Hampshire site. The ideal candidate will have six years of HR Generalist experience including four years of solid Employee Relations focus. We seek a self-assured professional to manage local/site Human Resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Within a matrix organization and well established Human Resources Shared Services environment:

  • Provide site, day-to-day HR support with a focus on employee relations

  • Drive and develop efforts in the areas of positive and proactive employee relations

  • Counsel employees and management; recommending course of action based on employment law and corporate policy, practices and procedures.

  • Advise and support management in the implementation and delivery of HR programs.

  • Deliver guidance and counsel on subjects such as performance, employee leaves of absence, accommodations, Worker s Compensation, etc.

  • Advance site culture to embrace company commitment to initiatives including diversity & inclusion; wellness; security, safety, etc.

  • Coordinate compliance activities in conjunction with HR Centers of Excellence, e.g., EEO, OFCCP, Affirmative Action Plans and compliance with Local, State and Federal employment laws.

  • Manage and develop HR staff member

  • Other projects as assigned

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Four years of proven Employee Relations experience partnering with stakeholders and leading employee investigations culminating in disciplinary recommendation/action

  • Experience leading a team

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Proven decision making using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and positive relationship building

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience working within shared services HR delivery model.

  • Experience or ability to work in a matrix environment.

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 6 years related experience
