We are looking for a candidate who will provide functional supervision of both junior and experienced antenna engineers in the development of phased arrays, IRADs, and development programs within the Antenna Capability Group. The ideal candidate will mentor and lead more junior engineers and provide career guidance as well as technical support to the programs these engineers are assigned to as necessary in executing sound engineering on respective assignments. A familiarity with the comprehensive design process, including conceptual through final design, support to procurement, work hands-on with antenna assembly personnel, engineering test, debug, integration and support to product manufacture and qualification is necessary. The applicant is expected to have domain expertise in antenna and array development, and will act as an internal consultant and technical authority to his/her peers and subordinates. Applicant will be expected to provide major inputs to proposals involving antenna scope and new business development. The candidate will be expected to manage and mentor more junior personnel in their support of development programs and internal IRAD projects.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of applicable experience OR a Master's Degree and 8 years of applicable experience.

  • Proven expertise in antenna and array development

  • Ability to act as an internal consultant and technical authority to his/her peers and subordinates.

  • Capable of providing major inputs to proposals involving antenna scope and new business development.

  • Ability to manage and mentor more junior personnel in their support of development programs and internal IRAD projects.

  • ACTIVE DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Master's Degree in Engineering discipline

  • Experience and leadership in antenna and array development and sustainment support of DOD military electronics/equipment

  • Certified Six-Sigma Black-Belt
