BAE Systems Analog IC Design Engineer in Merrimack, New Hampshire

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an analog design lead to guide a small (<10 person) high performance team in implementing integrated circuits for advanced research and development programs. These ICs leverage diverse semiconductor technologies including SiGe BiCMOS, CMOS SOI, GaAs, GaN, InP and small geometry CMOS to meet state-of-the-art defense performance requirements. Often the design activity is mixed-signal in nature (e.g. ADCs or DACs) and requires close collaboration with a digital design lead/team successfully execute.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Derive requirements for analog sub-components from a higher level specification

  • Architect circuits to address system design challenges

  • Mentor less experience engineers in analog circuit design

  • Design and analyze circuits using EDA tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADS)

  • Experience designing circuits or systems for operation across PVT

  • Experience preparing design reviews for internal engineering process and external customers

  • Good oral and written communication skills

Preferred Skills and Education

  • MSEE or PhD desired

  • 5 yrs experience in RFIC or mixed-signal IC development

  • Proposal writing experience

  • MATLAB or Python coding experience

  • Comfortable with Linux operating system (shell commands, basic scripting)

  • Verilog-A, Verilog, Verilog-AMS modeling of circuit behavior
