Job Description

The Administrative Support Staff provides mission-focused support of critical administrative services to the Program Management Team of a dynamic U.S. Government counterterrorism program. The Administrative Staff continuously fulfills evolving program needs, balances competing priorities, and seeks new ways to enhance program support. The Administrative Support Staff interacts daily with both the contract and government management teams.

  • Coordinate in-processing for new analysts

  • Process ongoing access requests for all analysts

  • Respond to management inquiries and data requests

  • Assist with program release of documents

  • Draft and/or disseminate instructions for workforce and management

  • Maintain, update, and track administrative documents related to personnel, security, arrival/departures, emergency contacts, and team rosters

  • Provide support to training, including scheduling courses and making arrangements for attendees

  • Organize program employee events

  • Order and track office supplies and special item requests

  • Coordinate conference room and video teleconference availability and scheduling

  • Process visitor access and transportation requests

  • Coordinate with customer and/or building engineer on facility maintenance/repair requests

  • Provide support during PowerPoint presentations

  • Respond to many ad hoc taskings

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with others and respond well to direction

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Previous experience in an office setting, responding to management needs

Preferred Skills and Education

Demonstrated knowledge of document analysis and experience synthesizing large amounts of data.

Familiarity with analytic tools.

Proficiency with software applications/databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government.

Bachelor s degree preferred.
