BAE Systems Imagery Analyst in McLean, Virginia

Job Description

BAE Systems has an opening for a Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) analyst to work on the OCONUS deployment of the GMTI/Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensor and exploitation system.

Major analytical responsibilities include exploiting GMTI data and SAR imagery in a multi-INT fusion environment with exposure and use of multiple intelligence analysis sources, creating and disseminating intelligence products, cross-cueing with other platforms, and supporting collection management.

The position is primarily located OCONUS but involves traveling to various locations CONUS for training prior to deployment. This position averages one month of CONUS pre-deployment training, and at least six months, preferably one year, OCONUS deployed.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

The position will require an OCONUS deployment of at least one year in a combat zone. Candidate must meet customer mandated clearance and medical requirements to deploy OCONUS to conduct airborne operations with the equipment. Customer reserves right to approve all contract personnel. Experience with MOVINT Client, Socet GXP, Google Earth, ISR Forensics Tool, and Microsoft Office. Common Ground Station (CGS) experience. Candidate must also possess a valid US Passport with at least one year from the deployment start date remaining.

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with the testing, development, and evaluation of new equipment/systems.

Experience exploiting real-time data and disseminating information in a high-stress, fast past 24/7 365 environment.

System architecture/Network troubleshooting experience is a plus

Prior deployment to combat zone as MTI/SAR/Imagery Analyst is desired.
