Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of Senior Financial Analyst for the rapidly expanding Space Systems (S2) product line in the C4ISR business area. The selected candidate will be a trusted business partner delivering information and innovative solutions for decision-making in order to deliver quality products and capabilities in support of civil, commercial and national security space missions. A Senior Financial Analyst in program finance will support the Program Management team to meet all customer and internal reporting requirements.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related degree and 4 years of related professional experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data in an accurate, concise and understandable manner

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and self-manage action items to drive to timely closure

Ability to make decisions with sound judgement while complying with policies and procedures

Ability to work well in a team environment with multiple functions

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer and Cobra

Experience with project forecasting and analysis in a US Defense environment

Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines

Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
