BAE Systems Program Director, Airborne SIGINT in Hudson, New Hampshire

Job Description

The Adaptive Sensors Product Line is seeking a Program Director to lead one of our growing Airborne SIGINT product portfolio s. This role will include profit and loss responsibility for a strategic program portfolio with a focus on high end advanced signals intelligence. For this portfolio we are looking for an entrepreneurial program director with technical and domain expertise to lead new business opportunities, advanced product development, engineering manufacturing development (EMD), and production programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute the growth strategy for our Strategic Airborne SIGINT products. This includes developing strategic relationship s with platform prime contractors as well as a range for DoD and Intelligence Community Customers including combatant commanders, requirements officers and acquisition customers to create and shape new business opportunities.

  • Provide leadership oversight and active engagement in the preparation of technical, management and cost proposals.

  • Work with our engineering leadership to develop and execute our product development and investment strategy.

  • Lead large program teams including engineering and operations across a number of related program efforts that span large scale engineering manufacturing and development (EMD), technology insertion, and production programs.

  • Ensure the successful execution of all programs led by this program area. Ensure all programs are executed in accordance with Electronic Systems Program Management Policies. Coordinate efforts across multiple projects, within and outside of the program area. Lead the pursuit of follow-on business opportunities.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Strong leadership skills leading large cross functional teams

  • Experience managing development programs for the US Department of Defense or Intelligence Community (IC)

  • Experience doing business in the SIGINT market is strongly preferred

  • Experience leading large strategic new business captures, preferably in excess of $100 million

  • Profit and loss experience >$10/Yr

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience managing a program portfolio that includes development programs, low rate initial production programs and operations and sustainment programs

  • Established customer relationships and contacts within Air Force and other DoD and IC SIGINT customer community

  • Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
