Job Description

The Operations Program Manager (OPM) is responsible for coordinating all Operations activities on a program. This includes flowing program requirements down from the product line and program manager to all of the Operations functions. The Ops functions primarily include Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and Supplier Partnerships. Supplier Partnerships consists of factory planning, program planning, procurement, and subcontract management. In addition to supporting program execution, OPM's are required to support non-recurring engineering program phases, including driving early involvement in development and transition to production programs of the various Ops functions. It will also include involvement in proposal activities for both material and Operations labor estimates.This role is intended to develop the Operations Program Manager basic skill set and provide the necessary experiences and learning required to assume higher levels of the OPM discipline and program/project leadership, going forward.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management skills as well as knowledge of the major Operations functions. In addition, basic skills in data analysis, leading small teams, effective communications, developing proposals, spreadsheet creation and management, as well as financial tracking and analysis skills. Initially, this role will support C4ISRS Business Area programs and projects being executed out of our Sensors and Electronic Attack (SEAS) facility, located in Hudson NH. Limited travel (10%) to other C4ISRS and/or ES Sector sites in support of key projects may be required.

Preferred Skills and Education

Prior experience in project leadership, finance, supply chain management, or factory management is a plus. Familiarity with MS Office, Oracle ERP, and Manufacturing/Quality execution systems desired. a plus. Analytical skills and experience presenting to Customers & Sr. Management desired.
