The primary objective is to initiate a growth trajectory that does not exist today, which is an adjacency to current BAE Systems market segments. The target is to grow from a technology base to a $100M product line within 5 years.
For this position, centered in our Hudson, NH facility, the ideal candidate will develop growth opportunities in ISR sensing systems. An understanding of the complete sensor to analyst mission thread will be an enabler for growth. Knowledge of emerging technologies in adaptive SIGINT, open architecture systems and domain experience in multiple frequency bands and signal processing systems will enable success. Relationships with industry partners and Air Force, Navy and Army customers, as well as the Intelligence Community, will lead to success for the right candidate.
This key leadership position will drive growth though the development and execution market/ campaign strategies. The successful candidate will drive our customer relationships, direct our investment priorities, establish our strategic partnerships and provide the vision that will give our warfighters a disproportionate advantage. Lead market campaigns to develop capture opportunities and drive business growth.
Engage with key external and internal decision makers as a thought leader in the mission and market space.
Engage and inform executive leadership with the voice of the customer and advocate internally for the actions and commitments necessary to grow.

Seek external sources to continually validate strategic objectives and progress.
Participate in speaking engagements, briefings and thought leadership activities representing BAE capabilities.

Utilize independent reviews and assessments to refine and improve your campaign effort.
Manage tactics and actions necessary to implement strategy and manage new business funding and related IR&D expenditures.
Support business strategy and growth reviews with periodic reporting and status updates.
Maintain currency with business development, capture, and program management skills through in-house and external training.
Mentor, coach and train product line staff to support business growth.
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience
Required Skills and Education
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
US Citizen, Secret Clearance with ability to achieve TS/ SCI.
BS Engineering or related technical degree.
Minimum 15 year of Defense Industry experience.
Track record of leading successful strategic campaigns
Knowledge of Government/DoD contracting and current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors.
Ability to write unsolicited white papers resulting in revenue streams.
Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of competitors and ability to anticipate competitor behaviors in the domestic and international military markets.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Education
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
US Citizen, Top Secret Clearance with recent SCI Billet.
MS Engineering or higher; and/or MBA.
Minimum 20 year of Defense Industry experience.
Black Belt equivalent Certification in Capture Management, per emerging industry standards.
Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in electronic warfare, C4ISR Systems, precision weapon systems, and/or self protection systems.
