BAE Systems Logistician II Communications Related in Hill AFB, Utah
The BAE ICBM Integration Support Contract (ISC) is in need of an experienced Logistician to aid in the sustainment of Minuteman III communications infrastructure and related systems.
This position will directly support the Launch Control Center Branch Program Manager (PM) and Engineers in continuous life cycle sustainment actions to meet the Systems Directorate Program requirements and timelines throughout the phases of the weapon system life cycle. Specifically, this BAE Systems team member will be responsible for supporting LCC UHF Radio Set Group A/N/GRC-208, the LCC Strategic Automated Command and Control System, LCC UHF Milstar Radio systems, LCC Minuteman MEECN (EHF & VLF) Equipment, LCC Telephone Connecting and Switching Set, LCC Telephone Set Repeater, LF Telephone Repeater Set, Support Information Network, Communications Systems Associated Electrical Surge Arrestors and be familiar with the Hardened Intersite Cable System as well as HAC/RMPE.
They will be involved in working with government employees and contractors during the sustainment phase of the weapon system life cycle and providing input to the various IPTs to ensure issues are adequately addressed in all facets of sustainment. They will assist the PM in ensuring operational and sustainment costs are considered; assess facilities and infrastructure requirements for sustainment; determine requirements for business case analyses; and work with the various IPTs, stakeholders, and contractors to assess and develop corrective actions to various issues. Finally, this individual will support the PM in providing subject matter expertise to enable sound logistics and sustainment decisions.
The position is being filled as a part of the Future ICBM Sustainment and Acquisition Construct (FISAC) under which BAE Systems augments organic government resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, mission effectiveness, and ICBM Demonstration / Validation (Dem/Val) Integrated Applications. This position will be located at or near Hill AFB, Utah.
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
At least one year of experience in logistics, supporting communication systems
Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD CAC (Common Access Card) or security clearance as required
6 years of related work experience
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with Air Force Technical Orders and engineering drawings.
Computer Literacy (word processing, spreadsheets, databases) Interpersonal skills (oral/written communication)
Experience in use of government legacy and supply, configuration and logistics management systems, such as: WEBFlis; LIMS-EV; DO43;JEDMICS; Haystack; FedLog; MEDALS; and ILSmart.
Should have ability to perform in-depth research of tech data discrepancies and offer valid solutions for correction. Should be knowledgeable of MM III systems and configurations. Good communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Successful applicant should be computer literate in the full suite of Microsoft office.Should be a self-starter with high energy. Should demonstrate outstanding organizational skills.
