BAE Systems ICBM Propulsion Engineer I in Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

This position will work with the Air Force in ICBM Sustainment Engineering for Minuteman III with concentration in propulsion systems. Will perform systems engineering and integration duties, logistical analysis, test and assessment, and other relevant engineering efforts required to support mature and proven weapon systems. Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical, electrical products and systems such as instruments, controls, propulsion rocket engines, and solid stage motors. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • ABET Accredited Bachelors engineering degree.

  • 0 to 2 years industry or military experience.

Preferred Skills and Education

Preferred Experience with:

  • ICBM sustainment, test, integration

  • Solid rocket motor technologies

  • Liquid propulsion

  • Flight Controls
