The selected candidate will apply their skills in design and leadership in order to develop and support of a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The engineer, will acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills while performing their assigned responsibilities in complex design, internal research and development efforts, mentoring and product development on DOD projects.
The duties assigned to this senior engineering position will include the following:
Complex electrical circuit design and analysis, firmware development, technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting, and mentoring junior engineering talent.
It will be expected that the candidate will have proficiency in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of Experience
Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
Solid electrical engineering fundamentals
Knowledgeable and proficient in VHDL language and coding
Experience with FPGA s and microprocessors
Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
Experience with a laboratory environment and the ability to use test equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineering talent
Preferred Skills and Education
Active Secret level security clearance
Master s degree in Electrical Engineering-?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /->
