BAE Systems Program Manager ATSP in Fort Worth, Texas
BAE Systems is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support the Advanced Technology Support Program within the C4ISR business unit. The Advanced Technology Support Program is a government-wide indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracting vehicle available to the Department of Defense, federal agencies including NASA, FAA, DoT, state agencies, as well as dual-use customers from the commercial sectors.
The PM will ensure program success by focusing on customer engagement, technical innovation, project scheduling, quality assurance and financial controls. The PM will be involved in, or lead, all new business captures that align with the program. This position requires extensive collaboration across multiple geographic locations with numerous business functions to reach a common objective. The objective is to access to a contract vehicle which provides competitive credit to performing organizations with technology solutions. As such, the program manager will be responsible for the development of the statements of work, program financial status and reporting, and compliance with the acquisition requirements of the individual contracts.
In addition to these program management functions, the PM will focus on and provide collaborative leadership to develop suitable work content that meets the requirements of the ATSP contract while managing the scope and schedule. In addition, the PM will aid in the development of new business through intensive customer engagement, internal marketing, and extensive communications with performing organizations, the customer, and DMEA.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance is required
Bachelor Degree and 10 years related experience working in Project/Program Management
5 years of production management and experience managing budgets using Earned Value, resources, quality and schedule
Demonstrated experience leading and directing cross-functional teams
Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation abilities to convey complex information to various audiences
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to multitask, work under frequent deadlines and adjust efficiently to accommodate shifting program priorities
Must have demonstrated strong command of various document/project management tools including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Serves as consultant to top management in long-range company planning or spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Prime external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities and long-range goals and objectives
Previous experience working with DMEA and the ATSP program is a plus.
