BAE Systems Program Control Analyst I in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Description

Will provide support to the Program Manager in meeting all of our governmental and internal reporting requirements. Will assemble financial data for inclusion in contract reviews, forecasts and variance explanations for the service segment. Will assist the team in identifying potential issues and or cost efficiencies along with developing plans to resolve issues or implement efficiency improvements. Will provide ongoing support to the business area Finance Manager in the preparation of external and internal financial reports and analysis required for our government customer.

The Financial Analyst must have good communication skills as the position will have significant interaction with Program Managers, Finance Managers, Program Directors and other functional organizations. Will ensure compliance with government regulations and all other internal policies/procedures.

This position is located near Downtown Fort Worth, TX.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business related field

Excellent command of MS Office Suite to include: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Critical thinking skills to define and solve problems

Sound interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Good planning, time management and organizational skills

Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance

Attention to detail

Ability to work effectively with short turnaround job tasking and time constraints
