In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

Our Test Products & Support (TP & S) team is looking for a Design Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas, to develop ground support equipment products for military fighter aircraft platforms. The Design Engineer will:

-Analyze requirements, design hardware, and select hardware/components & materials appropriate for assigned task(s).

-Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and associated Bill of Materials (BOMs).

-Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties while complying with appropriate principles, policies, and procedures.

-Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.

-Perform development work to the assigned budgets and project schedules in an integrated product team environment.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education


-Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


-2 to 5 years in the design of mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD tool Creo Parametric (Pro/Engineer).

-Working knowledge of drawing and configuration management practices.

-Communicate effectively across product team(s) and outside organizations.

-Ability to work independently on design projects.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experienced or familiar with working within the defense industry, particularly in the aerospace/ground support sector.

  • Microsoft Office Suite software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Secret clearance or able to obtain clearance.
