BAE Systems Manufacturing Engineer in Endicott, New York

BAE Systems has multiple manufacturing engineering opportunities at its Endicott NY facility. Positions available include opportunities within printed circuit assembly manufacturing, supply chain management, quality assurance, and a three-year rotational assignment involving multiple positions within Operations.

These positions require a candidate that is able to directly impact a value stream by using the knowledge you ve gained to monitor and improve processes using statistical process control and working to influence and lead production workers, be responsible for various sub-assemblies and help to manage external suppliers or work in rotational assignments that may include process engineering, production control/manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, supervision of production associates, supply chain management and test engineering.These experiences are intended to build your technical and leadership skills and provide exposure to various levels of management.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the US as a permanent resident

  • Bachelor s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

  • Excellent academic record

  • Outstanding communication skills

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities

  • Participation in a variety of extracurricular activities

  • Diverse work experience

  • Some experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain recommended

  • Strong work ethic
