We are in search of an energetic Systems Integrator/ Scrum Master to join our Software Development and Operations & Support Team. This position affords the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work with a great team of IT professionals who directly support one of the Customer's important missions.

As the Systems Integrator/ Scrum Master, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, testing documenting and maintaining solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf products. In this role, you will serve as technical team task lead; provide end-to-end project management support of the project life cycle; provide a total system perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components; coordinate with other team members and ensure problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and user satisfaction; and make recommendations, as needed, on test and evaluation strategies for application development and system installations. As the Scrum Master, you will be responsible for working closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner, facilitating daily Scrums and other Sprint Ceremonies, and helping remove any impediments that stand in the way of the team moving forward with tasks.

Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing functional and technical specifications and standards.

  • Consulting with customers, visiting their work spaces or conducting surveys to determine present and future needs.

  • Managing and updating tasks using Customer's configuration management tool.

  • Tracking and monitoring team's action items.

  • Preparing and delivering status reports (verbal and written) regarding team's tasks and Sprint progress.

  • Recommending changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware and/or software requirements related to such changes.

  • Assisting with user training on applications and tools developed and used by the IT team

  • Gathering data pertaining to customer needs, and using the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.

  • Providing direct support to team leads and program manager(s).

  • Scheduling and facilitating technical exchange meetings and various Sprint ceremonies.

  • Documenting, tracking, and resolving team's impediments.

  • Assisting with configuration management of team's documentation.

  • Assisting with Security Plan documentation updates.

  • Serving as Agile coach; coaching and developing resources' understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Being a champion for changes that will help customer accomplish their mission while demonstrating technical and business agility.

  • Implement Software Development and Operations & Support methodologies: Lean, Agile and DevOps

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Must have an Active Intel Security clearance with Favorable Polygraph. Candidate will not be considered without it.

  • Ability to use verbal and written communication skills to present information to a diverse population (technical and non-technical).

  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.

  • Must be willing to experiment and approach problems using non-traditional approaches when needed.

  • Knowledge of customer's policies and procedures relating to the design, upgrade, operations, and maintenance of networks and systems.

  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Ability to arrange things or actions in an order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.

  • Willingness to build and share network of resources so that team has points of contacts as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals at various levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Certified Scum Master (or willingness to obtain)

  • Previous experience as a Systems Integrator within the Intelligence Community

  • Willingness to learn and implement Lean methodologies, Agile engineering principles and strive for DevOps
