Job Description

The Adaptive Sensors Product Line is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead projects within the Eclipse SIGINT commercial line of business.This role will require an entrepreneurial self-starter capable of managing a number of projects across the entire project lifecycle.The successful candidate will leverage management, technical and domain expertise to lead both proposal and execution activities within the Eclipse business.-?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /->

Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as the lead Project Manager on a number of development programs leading to the delivery of Eclipse products.

  • Manage schedules and milestones, report earned value, manage risk and deliver quality products.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.

  • Provide leadership oversight and active engagement in the preparation of technical, management and cost/price proposals.

  • Contribute to the marketing communication activities promoting the Eclipse commercial business.

  • Engage the larger BAE community in the pursuit of capture opportunities involving Eclipse products and services.

  • Work with our engineering leadership to develop and execute our product development and investment strategy.

  • Ensure all projects execute in accordance with Electronic Systems Program Management Policies. Coordinate efforts across multiple projects, within and outside of the program area. Lead the pursuit of follow-on business opportunities.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Strong leadership skills leading and managing cross functional teams-?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /->

  • Experience managing development projects for the US Department of Defense or Intelligence Community (IC)

  • Experience developing and delivering products and system solutions under the commercial business model, FAR part 12.

  • Experience doing business in the SIGINT market is strongly preferred

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Training and experience leading projects with an Earned Value management requirement-?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /->

  • Program Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) certification

  • MBA in addition to technical degree

  • Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain clearance to the TS/SCI level
