BAE Systems Sr. Program Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts
Plan and execute complex projects on-time and within budget delivering all negotiated capability. Projects typically include development, integration, and demonstration of state-of-the-art technologies within the Autonomy, Control & Estimation (ACE)research and development business area. Extensive customer interaction to identify opportunities and grow the top line by proposing ECPs and follow-on initiatives. Coordinate development of white papers and proposals for new business and support contract negotiations for favorable fee, terms & conditions. Maintain compliance with BAE Systems project planning and execution standards and industry best practices (e.g., SEI CMMI); lead project status reviews with customers and senior management. Ensure all project deliverables meet BAE Systems' quality standards and are delivered on time. Collaborate with other BAE Systems business areas to share / transition technical capabilities. Mentor project staff on acquiring and demonstrating management and leadership skills. Maintain and strive to improve own project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Required education: Advanced degree in technical and/or business discipline and 10 years experience is required.
Demonstrated project planning and execution skills.
Excellent oral and writing communication skills.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).or related experience
Experience managing multi-million dollar technology-intensive ISR programs at DoD and/or Intelligence community sites
Preferred Skills and Education
Demonstrated success planning and executing projects of increasing complexity for DoD and Intelligence Community customers over career. Hands-on experience with fielded Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems including extensive interaction with our warfighters to capture requirements and preferences and train them on using new, advanced capabilities. Proficient using MS Office applications, including MS Project for building and maintaining integrated master schedules. Proficient applying risk management and mitigation strategies. Proficient applying cost estimation approaches including Delphi and COCOMO. Understanding of the Software Engineering Institute's CMMI process model.
